About Bravespace Nutrition
At Bravespace Nutrition, I believe life is too short to spend it consumed by food, body image, or the pursuit of changing your body.
I created Bravespace Nutrition because I wanted to offer a different path. After years of working with people struggling with eating disorders, chronic dieting, and body image, I saw how often nutrition advice focused on rules, shame, and changing bodies instead of helping people build trust with themselves.
My approach is rooted in helping you rebuild trust with your body, develop a more peaceful relationship with food, and create a life with more freedom, presence, and joy. I believe your worth has never depended on your body size, your eating habits, or your ability to meet society's expectations. My work is grounded in weight-inclusive, anti-diet care that honors your body's needs while supporting lasting healing.
Whether you're healing from an eating disorder, navigating body image concerns, or simply exhausted by the constant mental noise around food, I hope Bravespace feels like a place where you can exhale.
Meet Katherine
Hi, I’m Katherine! I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who believes that healing your relationship with food isn't about finding more willpower, another meal plan, or the perfect way to eat. It's about rebuilding trust with yourself.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people recovering from eating disorders, healing body image, and untangling years of food rules, shame, and self-criticism. Again and again, I've seen what becomes possible when people stop spending so much of their lives thinking about food and their body. They gain back time, energy, joy, and the freedom to be more present in the life they actually want to live.
That belief is what led me to create Bravespace Nutrition.
I wanted to build a practice where people feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to challenge old patterns, and empowered enough to reconnect with their own body wisdom. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in weight-inclusive, evidence-based care because I don't believe lasting healing comes from fear or shame.
I specialize in eating disorder recovery, disordered eating, and body image concerns through individual nutrition therapy, body image groups, and educational workshops. Beyond working with clients, I also write, speak, and create educational content to help challenge diet culture and make compassionate nutrition information more accessible to the public.
Whether we're working together one-on-one or you're simply reading an article or watching one of my videos, my hope is the same: that you leave feeling a little more understood, a little more hopeful, and a little more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
